Carrot Halwa
Carrot Halwa Recipe Ingredients Needed: 1/2 kg carrot 1/4 cup ghee / clarified butter 10 cashew / kaju (chopped) 10 raisins 3 cup milk ½ cup sugar ¼ tsp cardamom powder How To Make: Peel the skin of carrot and grate finely. Put the ghee in a kadai and wait till it melts. Add the cashew and raisins in to that and sauté till it gets golden brown and transfer to another plate. Add some more ghee to the same kadai and add the grated carrot and sauté till the raw smell goes. Add the milk to the carrot and stir well Once it's cooked and thickened, add ½ cup of sugar to it. Get the sugar melted and thickened. Add some more ghee if required Add ¼ tsp cardamom powder and stir it. Check whether the ghee releases from sides. Add the ghee roasted cashews and raisins to the halwa. Mix well and Serve. Video Recipe:
