Carrot Halwa

Carrot Halwa Recipe Ingredients Needed: 1/2 kg carrot 1/4 cup ghee / clarified butter 10 cashew / kaju (chopped) 10 raisins 3 cup milk ½ cup sugar ¼ tsp cardamom powder How To Make: Peel the skin of carrot and grate finely. Put the ghee in a kadai and wait till it melts. Add the cashew and raisins in to that and sauté till it gets golden brown and transfer to another plate. Add some more ghee to the same kadai and add the grated carrot and sauté till the raw smell goes. Add the milk to the carrot and stir well  Once it's cooked and thickened, add ½ cup of sugar to it. Get the sugar melted and thickened.  Add some more ghee if required Add  ¼ tsp cardamom powder and stir it. Check whether the ghee releases from sides. Add the ghee roasted cashews and raisins to the halwa. Mix well and Serve. Video Recipe:

 Lasooni Palak Recipe Ingredients Needed: For making Palak puree: 3 cup water (for boiling) 1 bunch of palak  2 cup cold water (for rinsing) 1 inch ginger 1 clove garlic 3 Green chilly For making curry: 1 tbsp butter 1 bay leaf 2 cardamom 1 inch cinnamon 1 tsp cumin / jeera  1 tsp kasuri methi  1 onion (finely chopped)  1 tbsp besan / gram flour  ¼ tsp cumin powder  ½ tsp coriander powder  ½ tsp garam masala  ¾ tsp salt  ½ cup water  1 tbsp lemon juice For Tempering:  2 tbsp ghee / clarified butter  4 clove garlic (sliced)  1 dried red chilly (broken)  ½ tsp kasuri methi How to Make:   Take a large vessel, get 3 cup water to a rolling boil. Add 1 bunch of palak into the boiling water. Allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes. Drain off the palak and drop into ice-cold water. this helps to retain the green colour of palak.
